Eindeloos

*Eindeloos* is the online diary of Jaan, a 33-year-old woman from Friesland living in North Brabant who has bipolar disorder. She is of Indonesian descent and describes herself as being “one-quarter” Indonesian—though she turned out somewhat blonde. In 2003, she transformed herself into a brunette.
Jaan is thoroughly divorced and has no children, though she does have a sweet, traumatized dog named Cabbie.
In her diary, she humorously describes her “deeply sad love life.” A succession of men passes through her life, some remaining part of it a little longer than others. At times, Jaan harbors thoughts of revenge against men—but then again, they truly deserve it.
The title *Eindeloos* (“Endless”) refers not only to the search for endless love but also to the fact that this book, written in a blog style, is never truly finished.
